Six Igbonla Model College School Boys Kidnapped in Epe, Lagos Released

Six students of Igbonla Model college who were abducted from their school by suspected Niger Delta militants on the 25th of May, 2017 have been released.

The six boys were rescued at Aboto creek, Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo state, at about 3.30pm on Friday, July 28th, 2017.

Their release, according to reports was secured by the Ondo state governor, Rotimi Akeredolu.

It was gathered that the kidnappers initially demanded N400 Million to release the boys but it was later reduced to N100 million which the parents could afford.

The students were identified as Agbaosi Judah, Jonah Peter, Philips Pelumi, Adebanjo George, Yusuf Faruq, Ramon Isiaka.
