Police, OPC, Vigilantes, Traditional Leaders Meet Over Badoo Attacks in Ikorodu

The Lagos state police command on Thursday held a meeting with security oeratives and traditional leaders at Sabo Junction, opposite Ojokoro Cemetery, Ikorodu on how to flush out nembers of the notorious Badoo group out of Ikorodu,

In attendance were the Deputy Lagos Commissioner of Police, representatives of the 174 Army Battalion, Odogunyan, Ikorodu, NAVY, NDLEA, DSS, OPC, Onyabo Vigilantes, the Lagos Neighbourhood Safety Corps, Traditional and religious leaders.

While speaking at the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner of Police in Lagos assured Ikorodu residents that the Notorious Badoo Group and their sponsors will soon be flushed.

He called on residents to always hand over suspected criminals to the Onyabo Vigilantes and desist from all forms of jungle justice.

"We all need to stop Jungle Justice, and if we do not trust the Police Departments in Ikorodu, we should at least trust our Local Vigilantes, the Onyabo and Co." said the police commissioner.

The Security team further patrolled all the area where Jungle Justice took place, and places where Suspected Badoo Members have fled to.
