"I'm A Fan" Song Does Not Belong To Phyno, Pia Mia's Version Is The Only One Authorised - Decarlo

US Based Singer, Decarlo says he's the original writer of the controversial song "I'm a fan" and that Pia Mia's song is the only one authorised.

The song was initially released on Phyno's album “The Playmaker” in 2016 featuring Mr. Eazi and Decarlo while Pia Mia released hers on May 26, 2017, in collaboration with Jeremih.

Nigerians had accused Pia Mia of stealing Phyno's song, as he had released the song earlier.

In an interview with the Beat 99.9FM, Phyno claimed his version of the song was authorised and that no rules were broken.

Now Decarlo has refuted any claims that Phyno originally owned the song "I'm A Fan", also stating that he actually pitched the demo to various artists. He also cleared the air on the Pia Mia allegations by stating that her song is the only authorised version.

He tweeted: "I wrote the original demo of I’m A Fan” and pitched it to various artists. I worked with Pia Mia and Jeremih on the track. Their song is the only version authorized"
