Manchester Arena Bomb Blast: 22 People Dead, 59 Injured in Ariana Grande Concert Suicide Attack

At least 22 people were killed and 59 Injured in an explosion that rocked Manchester Arena, in northern England, at an Ariana Grande on Monday May 22, 2017 night.

The Blast, according to the BBC occurred around 10:35pm when the American Popstar was concluding her show.

Video footage showing the moment the 21,000 capacity arena blew up with people panicking and running for their lives was posted online.

UK Police say the suspect, who carried a bomb died in the attack which took the lives of many children.

"The attacker, I can confirm, died at the arena. We believe the attacker was carrying an improvised explosive device, which he detonated, causing this atrocity", Chief Constable Lan Hopkins was quoted to have said.

He said it was the 'most horrific incident' manchester had experienced, adding that fast investigations into the case were ongoing as the case was being treated as a terrorist attack.

A video of the moment the bomb went off was recorded by a concert goer, Rhianna Burke who tweeted "I never ment to record this but this is me leaving ariana grande #DangerousWomantour #ManchesterArena hope everyone is safe and got out"

The British Prime Minister, Theresa May in a statement, said "we are working to establish the full details of what is being treated by the police as an appalling terrorist attack. All our thoughts are with the victims and the families of those who have been affected"
