'Nigeria's President, Muhammadu Buhari is Dead, He Died in London' - Former UK MP, Eric Joyce

A former parliamentarian member of the British parliament, Eric Joyce has announced the death of President Muhammadu Buhari in London on twitter.

Eric Stuart Joyce is a 57 year old British Poltician and former military officer of the United Kingdom, according to his Wikipedia page.

Joyce said via twitter that it was 'sad to learn bout Buhari's death'

"Very sad to learn hear of the death of President Buhari, whom I campaigned for. Thoughts with his wife @aishambuhari and family. #buhari"

"The president of one of the world's largest and most sensitive countries died in London today. In our main news bulletins, not a word.#Buhari" Eric tweeted.

He also alleged that the "UK is curiously uninterested in whether Nigerian president, reportedly in London, is alive or dead" in an article on his website.

In another article titled "Nigeria: it's for a president to prove he's alive, not his people to prove he's not", Eric Joyce said it is Buhari's duty to let Nigerians know the true state of his health, in order to avoid them declaring him dead when he's not.

There have been several rumours and speculations about the President's death, but the presidency has denied all, assuring Nigerians that there's no cause for worry.

The president is currently in London for what he termed a 'follow-up treatment'
