Nigerian Singer, Wizkid has finally reacted to the recent brouhaha by Nigerian netizens over a comment he made in an interview, DJ Semtex, an interviewer with BBC Radio.

The Ojuelegba crooner said, during the interview that he his loves Nigerian people so much that sometimes he does free shows.

"Everywhere they go, they will tell you. Nigerians love me, and I love them too much. I will do anything for my Nigerian people man.

"Big shout to my Naija people. I love them too much. That’s why I do a lot back home. Sometimes I do free shows. I just pull up and say ‘Hey, Wizkid, free show." he said

The 26 year old went on to say that he sometimes charges a dollar or a thousand Naira when he does shows at the Fela Shrine.

"Sometimes I charge like a dollar for a show, sometimes I take like N1000, sometimes when I do shows at the Fela shrine, back with Femi (Kuti) and all that" Wizkid added.

But the statement was not taken lightly by Nigerians as many believed he 'lied' at the interview.

However, after remaining silent on the issue, Wizkid has now responded on twitter.

In his words;
