Chibok Girl, Mariam Mohammed-Isa Escapes From Boko Haram

Another Chibok Girl has reportedly escaped from Boko Haram capitivity, the special adviser to President Buhari, Femi Adesina has said.

The young girl has been identified as Mariam Mohammed-Isa, 15, female, a JSS 1 student from Chibok community in Borno State

This comes days after 82 Chibok Girls were released by Boko Haram sect.

The personal assistant to the president on new media, Bashir Ahmad also confrimed the developmet via his verified twitter account on Wednesday.

"Days after 82 #ChibokGirls were released, another one has today escaped from her BH captors. 107 out of 219 have been rescued so far. 112"

"The escaped #ChibokGirl was found by the Nigerian troops while she was escaping from the captivity. 1+21+1+1+82+1 = 107". Ahmad tweeted.

276 girls were abducted by Boko Haram sect in 2014, but 57 of them managed to escaped.

Out of the 219 left, 107 have regained freedom, leaving 112 girls remaining.
