President Buhari Absent From FEC Meeting Today April 26th, 2017, Will Now Work From Home

President Muhammadu Buhari was noticeably absent from the weekly federal executive meeting with his ministers in Abuja today 26/04/2017.

The cabinet members including the vice president, Yemi Osinbajo were said to have waited anxiously for the president's arrival, but that didn't happen.

Osinbajo then presided over the meeting around 11:00 am.

Recall that a week ago, the federal executive meeting did not hold as usual.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed has said that President Buhari will now work from home.

Lai Mohammed spoke to State House correspondents after the Federal Executive Council, FEC meeting on Wednesday.

According to him, 'Buhari needs some rest and has asked that all the files on his table be brought to him at his official residence in the Presidential Villa'.
