UK Deports 23 Nigerians Over Immigration Offences

The government of the United Kingdom on Friday deported 23 Nigerians from their country over various immigration offences

The deportees, according to the News Agency of Nigeria landed at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos on Friday at about 6.am in a chartered plane.

They deportees, all males were received by officers of the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) and profiled before being discharged to their various destinations.

This comes days after activists blocked Stansted Airport runway in London, protesting the deportation of several Nigerians and Ghanaians.
