Court Dismisses Six Count Charges Against Nnamdi Kanu


The Federal High Court in Abuja presided over by Justice Binta Nyako, has dismissed six of the 11 charges brought against Nnamdi Kanu by the federal government

Justice Nyako dismissed charges three, five, seven, nine and eleven for lack of proof of evidence.

Count eleven alleged that the defendants are researching how to make improvised explosive devices

Count five bothered on the defendants belonging to an illegal Organization.

Count seven bothered on the importation of radio transmission equipment.

She, however, retained five other counts bothering on treason, terrorism and possession of arms.

Justice Nyako also ordered a re-arriagnment of the accused persons.
