Certificate Scandal: Sowore Throws it back at Dino Melaye - "I'm not afraid"

The publisher of Nigeria's fearless online medium, Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore has reacted to the N500 billion libel suit filed against him by Senator representing Kogi West, Dino Melaye.

Sowore said in a post on his facebook page that he is ready to fight drug dealers, certificate forgers even if it takes his life.

He stated that he had suffered and also been humiliated during Babaginda's regime, so Dino Melaye's threat of "Sowore will go to Jail" shows that "our transition into Democracy was a farce".

The online publisher also described Babaginda as one of Nigeria's worst dictators who shares the same characteristics with Dino Melaye

Part of his statement read;

"Here is how I am different and also not different, I am not going to run away from criminals running the Nigerian political space until they are defeated, and their ideologies of greed, bloodiness, and avarice are entirely abandoned and discredited forever (Apology to Bob Marley).

If it takes my life, so be it. If it means another unjust ruling asking for damages for thieves. So be it. We must take our space back from the 10 percenters, drug dealers, certificate forgers, money launderers, political manipulators, and assassins."

It would be recalled that Mr. Melaye had sent a letter to the inspector general of police, saying Sowore had "defamed" him.
