Buhari Condoles Adamu Fika Over Wife's death

President Muhammadu Buhari has sent his condolence to the former head of the Civil service, Dr Adamu Fika over the death of his wife, Tasallah Fika.

According a statement released by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on media and publicity, Garba Shehu, the president said in a telephone call from london to the bereaved Wazirin that the loss was painful and challenging in the life of any husband.

President Buhari explained that as a family man himself, he understood the depth of pain Dr. Fika was going through at this time "having lost a great and invaluable companion of many years and that the deceased was one of the most devoted wives who was the pride of the nuclear family."

He also prayed for the deceased, a fortitude to bear the enormous loss.
